- Audio is recorded only while you actively hold the dictation key
- Audio is processed in memory and is never written to disk
- Audio is never transmitted to any server or third party
- No transcription history is stored
Usage Data
We do not collect any usage data.
Speak2 contains no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting. We have no way to know how you use the app.
Third-Party Services
Speak2 does not integrate with any third-party services. The speech recognition model is downloaded once during setup and runs entirely on your device thereafter.
Data Storage
All app settings and your pronunciation dictionary are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS preferences. This data is not synced, uploaded, or shared.
