LOOM collects nothing and makes no network calls. It does not call home at launch, check anything on a schedule, or fetch a font. A venue's captive-portal WiFi makes no difference to it.
LOOM has no account, telemetry, crash uploader or subscription.
File ▸ Report a Problem writes a file describing what LOOM did, then opens it so you can read it. It does nothing else. Nothing is uploaded, and no one receives a report until you attach the file to a message yourself. See Reporting a problem for what the file contains.
LOOM keeps a log of the messages it shows on the notice line, for this session and the one before it, in your LOOM folder. The log stays on your disk, and the report reads from it.
Links that open your web browser
Two controls pass a web address to macOS, which opens it in your browser: Latest Version on the Web in the LOOM menu, and Buy LOOM on the licence card. LOOM itself opens no connection, sends no request and reads nothing back. Nothing leaves your Mac unless you choose one of these controls, and then your browser makes the request.
LOOM does not check for updates and does not know whether a newer version exists. To find out, compare the version stated on the web page with the one in LOOM ▸ About LOOM.
Your songs and recordings stay on your own disk, in a folder you can open and copy. See Where your recordings live.
LOOM checks your licence on your own Mac, against a key built into LOOM, and sends nothing anywhere. See Your licence.
